just tossing it out there but what about long island? There are tons of places to go for dinner/lunch and the racing crouds are always out on the weekends. We could also cruise ocean parkway wich goes along the shoreline for about 30 miles.

When it comes to the Poconos, that covers a lot of area. My parents live in the Poconos so I have a little bit of knowledge on the subject. I have never been to Island before, but I have heard many a horror story about the people who frequent this track. A lot of New York street racers and such (may be good to take some money home). But on a serious note, I have heard a lot of stories of stuff getting stolen at this track. Another track that I have heard decent things about is Numidia dragway. It is located just outside of Bloomsburg. I know there is a Hilton Garden inn that is fairly new right off the exit in Bloomsburg. Now this is a ways from Stroudsburg,(90 minutes) so I doubt we would maintain the meeting spot there, but it is more west than stroudsburg which would make the Pittsburgh guys happy and the New Jersey guys less happy. Just an idea for a different Poconos location.

numidia is one of the dragstrips i was referring to in the other thread. That and Beaver Springs are pretty central in PA. Beaver is 60mil/mins from State College and about 1.5hrs from Williamsport. Numidia is 1hr from Williamsport and 2hrs from State College...just to give everyone an idea of wheter stuff is located. Guess i'll make a map real quick.

Like i said just tossing it out there. Just thought it might bring a different mix of guys out. Most of our meets are in the same areas and attract the same crowd. If we move it around a little naste would propbably get a better mix of members perhaps?

Numedia is about as far West as I'd be willing to go. (but who the hell am I to decide? :lol The owner of that track, Bob DiMino, is a cool dude and loves to accommodate. I've never been to that track but I'm in the drag racing business and I've heard a lot of good things about the track and the owner/management. Only downfall is the elevation of that track makes it quite a bit slower than most of the other tracks in the Northeast. It's about 2-3 tenths slow....

i've never had an issue at island..

but yes, there are alot of untimed runs at island and lots of money in the stands.

it does seem most/all the NE meets are way far from NY. lol, shit, nats were 15plus hrs from me. i went anyway thow.

you cant please all the people all the time, but id like something 2ish hrs from NY.

I voted Pittsburgh or State College, I could possibly do Williamsport also, but thats getting a little far.

Guys, please go in the date poll thread and vote there also. There's been tons of votes on location, and hardly any on date!!!!

We're all sick and tired of working our own trucks all the time... Why the hell would we want to work on yours? Lol although I can bribed easily with beer and food! :lol:

I know that Me, Dameon and the rest of the B&M crew will be attending. Any of the locations are doable. I'd lean towards the one with the best turn out.

you ladies missed out on nats.. was a hell of a time

i'm a family man now... :lol: i did sleep 28 people in my house one weekend...but those days are long gone. That was back when i was drunk and didn't care about my place getting destroyed. :rotf:

I might be able to come to a 1 day meet if my truck is up and running. I love to do a test and tune if ready for that. I can't do any weekend long event or take any more time off from work my Syclone. I am already in the Dog House for being late to my 10th Anniversary Dinner Reservation last night.
