It's funny how so many hate these foxbodys but yet at the end of the night there always the ones driving from the track back home without a hiccup. There also the one's at the top of the food change normally at any real street race scene.
I take it like what's not to love, they are a small block with good torque and weight nothing. Couple that with one of the largest aftermarkets of all time and the simplicity of maintenance and upgrading yourself who wouldn't like them.. oh that's right the one's that get beat by them or have never driven one
I agree though that car is a 4k car... they really are no fun with an aode though which would totally turn me off personally but you said you had a aod car before so this might be something you would enjoy.
The use of an sn95 intake is pretty strange though.. why would he go through the trouble and not just bolt a tfs or like on instead of that shitbox of an intake.
Just make sure the torque boxes are in good shape, no rust on the underside of the hatch, doors and fender lips and put some damn 2.5" lx pipes on it instead of those dumps. Oh and if there's no subframes and the car's seen some dr's look for some stress cracks along the roof.
