Hello my fellow SyTyers. I joined a special class yesterday. I walked into a room with my wife as husband and wife and I walked out of the same room a parent. WOW! All went well, but we were worried because she was not due until 9-18, so a month and a day early. The stats; 7#'s & 20" in length. The name is still YTD, but were working on it. I have the cam and camcorder at the hospital, so I'll get some pix up by the end of the week. I'm back home for a quick nap and back to the hospital for a visit and the name game.

7lbs? and a month early? sounds like your baby was due when she was born. sometimes they aren't accurate with the delivery date. congrats on the new chapter of your life.

Congrats here, too! My first was a little early, but she's doing just fine now. Looking forward to our son's birth, in December. Enjoy!

Thats awesome ,Welcome to the club , your life will never be the same in a good way . Congrats ! Maybe its a trend of early babies but our boy was the same month early 7lb-11 and 20 inches .Get some sleep while you can .lol

congrats man, it was the coolest day of my life ever. It will make you think alot different about life now. I wouldn't trade that day I got to see my son for the first time for anything in the world.

39 years old? Wow. However my mother was 32 and my dad was 38 and I survived. :rotf: Congratulations and please wish mom the best.

And of course the same line I tell everyone: You life is changed forever, the ups and downs are many but you've never smiled as you will now.

Congrats......Hope the wife and new daughter are both doing well. Enjoy every moment.....they go by so fast. Next thing you know they are all grown up.
