Thunder

Here is the post I made when I got 722.

Now, this may sound immature, but do you guys name your cars?

I'm restoring a 67 Camaro that I've had since I was 17, and from the first time I hooked it the name "Beast" just stuck.
I have a 63 C10 that sounds like a Corsair F4U (WWII plane that used a Pratt-Whitney engine) so her name is Whitney.
They all seem to name themselves, and this TY is no different.
Introducing Thunder.
When I was getting on the highway to come back home with her, 97.1 was fading in and out (I was about 70 miles north of Dallas) and when it came in clear all I heard was...

(fuzz, static). . ."You've been . . . .THUNDRSTRUCK" (fuzz, static)

I laughed and said out-loud, "Well, if that's what you want to be called, prove it to me." I'll be damned if I didn't change the channel only to hear White Zombie's Thunderkiss 1965.

I think I am pretty much in line with the "piece of shit" naming that several others seem to go with.

My wife named our Sy "Ike".

She said even though it leaves her stranded, abuses her with its harsh ride and lack of A/C, and makes her cry because its always in the shop, she loves it and always goes back to it.

My stock block turbo mustang is sadly more reliable, but she refuses to let me get her a different car. =)
