Over the last couple days i've been doing some research on that as i'd love to swap a 3.8 tubo in one of my trucks. From what i've gathered you either need to move the firewall back a couple inches (a bit extreme) or cut the front cross member and weld in a lower member to clear the oil pan. My guess is he kept the cross member in tact to do the swap.Um, moved the firewall back 3 inches? Really?
