Accessory brackets, what do do with them?

Well unfortunately my motor is out of my truck but on the bright side I can clean and paint a lot of things. Just wondering what you guys did with your accessory brackets if anything and if you have any pics? I searched and found some people powdercoated them but didn't find any pics. I am thinking about painting them maybe a silver color but open to idea's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Polish them! Add a little bling to the engine.


I just glass beaded mine and painted them cast aluminum color. Powder coat will be my next deal if I ever have engine out again.

Has anyone ever had any problems with powder coating them? There not exactly the strongest before they get heated up ya know.. Hell my drivers side cracked unbolting the alt. Lol.

if you paint/coat them....why not do them black or something else that doesn't stand out. why bling up an ugly piece

Black is what I was going to do, I was debating weather to spray paint them today.

The heat from the PC process isnt going to effect the brackets. Its nowhere near hot enough to weaken anything on a molecular level.

Don's are getting powdered with Chrome powder.

i wouldn't paint them. mine are and they chip easy, i'd powder coat them satin black

I bead blasted mine and sprayed some clear coat on them for some great color contrast of the engine, and if chips you can't tell.

Damn that looks good, turns out the guy down the road from me who does a lot of performance stuff will glass bead both brackets and both intake manifolds for $75.00. Not bad IMO
