Got an Ultimate Chip and 3 Bar.... Need help - advice

Cruising through AZ.....
Got a Chp and 3-bar map.... BUT - I am a little scared to go swapping out my chip - and screww up something -

Any advice or a site that has photos and step by step so that I dont mess up something?? I am new to all this - Help!!

Anyone in Arizona want to help a fella out???

pss - 1992 Ty - stock heads, inj, - walbro 255, intercooler hotwire - intake w/cone filter, - 118k miles.

Might also need to remove the bolt holding the passenger's feet light bulb socket and let the light bulb socket hang down to make it easier for the wires connected to the ECM to drop down.

will you need to upgrade the fuel pump? or upgrade to an adjustable fuel pressure regulator when running this chip ? and do you need to set timming at 0 deg. before installing the chip or after ?

Once you get things installed and working normal, keep the boost on the lowest setting. It is real important to have a laptop connected and monitoring for engine knock.You will most likely find better fuel is required above stock boost levels.

mine has a stumble about half throttle and it smells lean. i havent checked fuel pressure yet , timing is set at 0 deg . its a stock ty exept for a cold air intake , msd coil and egr delete oh and a 160 deg themostat. i swaped a pit bull chip for the ultimate and i did a tune up and set timing . and then it started running lean

Yes, to both questions, you should have done this already. The Ultimate call for 50lbs fuel pressure.
