coolant temp

i just finished my build and my coolent temp on my laptop pluged into aldl temp holds steady at 165.20 no fluxuation whatsoever does any one know what would cause this the sensor in the head is new also any suggestions would help thanks

What program are you using?

Do you have a way to check the actual engine temp outside of the sensor?

Its the sensor if it never moves.

im useing tuner pro rt

I had the same problem with TP RT on my van - 1995 Olds Silhouette...Temp never fluctuated though the gauge moves.
