which turbo charger ?

Hi guys this is my first message I drive 93 typhoon ı rebuilt the engine about 2 months ago but my turbo charger doesnt work so well so we tried to fix it but sometimes it cuts the acceleration ı think the waste gate doesnt work properly so instead of changing it ı want a new turbo is there an option that you can offer which is suitable for my exhaust manifold. Thank you ...

Cutting acceleration is probably not a tubo, its probably the ECM (sensing knock and cutting power), fuel pump or ignition problems. I supose it could be a sticky wastegate puck causing overboost, but you should be able to see on that on a scan tool. I would hate to see you spend a bunch of money on bigger turbo that just makes the problem worse and is more likely greande your motor.

You should prob list the mods you have done to the truck already... like a fuel pump etc because we don't know if you've covered the normal safe upgrades or supporting mods yet or not.

And like stated above, research and use the search button. These motors can't handle detonation much at all like other vehicles can so you have to be careful and monitor it especially if making changes or having issues from the get go
