i sandblasted and powdercoated all of my control arms, sandblasted all the bolts/washers/nuts. Also powder coated my steering bar, water neck, ic bars, water pump pulley and alt brace. Also bolted up my manual brake master cylinder. Derusted the output shaft of my 4l80e.

thats like 4 months work for me...all in 1 day!

Good job Mike! Got any pics of your powdercoating setup?

I started glassing my new gauge cluster.... http://www.syty.net/forums/showthread.php?t=67142

and an old oven. I made a sweet table for the oven to sit on...i'll take a pic next time i'm at the shop. I'm sure you'll get a laugh over it.

Actually i shocked myself pretty good with it on saturday. Don't keep your foot on the switch if you try to clean the tip off with your finger...

Installed Atr Pitbull Chip, 3 Bar Map Sensor, New Rotor cap, adjusted the timing. Finished up a two week long "tune up" that she needed, or at least thats what I told my wife when i bought her. Finally got her running good and strong. Just a few minor adjustments needed. Big Thanks to Harmon. On to the next phase.:tup:

atr pitbull chip, there are better chips out there, be carefull. i can't recall wich chip eliminates the knock sensor, i thouhgt it was kennebel cause you had to purchase a knock retard system from them (which alot didn't).
be warned

1. Replaced the 2 hoses that attach to the heater core. Had to move the IC to get leverage to press on the hose to the fitting on the top of the engine block.
2. Replaced the PCV's. Easy to do since the IC was out of the way.
3. Drained coolant and replaced with 50/50 mixture.
4. Added Redline Water Wetter FTW!

Test drove truck and idled 10x better with smoother acceleration. Is this due to PCV's maybe? It was too much of a difference to be placebo.

I went to my storage to move it, but only to get stuff out that was behind it.

Washed mine and cleaned the interior and conditioned the leather again. Waiting on my braided brake like that goes from the booster to the upper manifold so I can finish my boost guage install and then I am moving on to the hard pipe from the upper IC to turbo with BOV.

On the plus side, the motor is back together (but kinda dirty):

I drained the gas out of it (about 12 gallons) and put it in my 69 Chevelle so I could start it up.
