Fuel rail Schrader valve part number?

Does anyone know the GM (or even better, NAPA) part number for the fuel rail Schrader valve (where the fuel pressure gauge attaches)?

Mine was removed by the previous owner, the dealership was (as usual) useless and couldn't find the part in the computer, and NAPA didn't think they carried it.

Thanks!

Re: Fuel rail Schrader valve part number?

are you installing or removing the FP gauge attachment? An AN blanking plug might work of ryou.

it's an AN fitting so a standard AN schrader valve should work no?

EDIT: Just looked in the parts manual and there isn't a mention of the part number - it's not on the schematic for the Typhoon/ Syclone fuel rail.

Re: Fuel rail Schrader valve part number?

I want to pull off the hood-mounted fuel gauge that's on there now, and run with no gauge for awhile. Bonus points if there is something to stop pressurized fuel from spraying all over my engine compartment :)

If it's a standard valve, do I need some kind of measurement to order one? Can I just buy a brand new tire valve, or is that not the right part?

Thanks!

Re: Fuel rail Schrader valve part number?

like I said, it's an AN standard fitting. Worth trying a standard AN valve fitting as long as it is certified for fuel due to the rubber. You could get an AN plug easily though, that might be a safer bet.

Alternatively, get an Autometer gauge and a gauge pod - FP gauge in the cockpit is worth it :D

Yeah I heard that spraying fuel in an engine bay isn't a great idea!
