PLX to ECM drawing correct?

I need to see the drawing of the hookup- I've read and seen the video but somewhere along got lost(easyily done). So for dummies like me this is the drawing I came up with. IS THIS CORRECT?

Re: PLX to ECM drawing correct?

You have the black and grey swapped. BB9 is ground and F14 is the wb signal. Also make sure you never go into closed loop unless you run the NB to the stock wire as well

Sorry I did label the original drawing incorrectly but now corrected.Maybe I'm getting off trackbut I thought this is how you wire to get the WB info when running datamaster or code59 and during normal operations when the truck is running closed loop?????

Re: PLX to ECM drawing correct?

code59 will read the WB inpute on pin f14, no need for the NB input to even be hooked up if running code59 in closed loop.

Thanks
Does datamaster read the input on F14?
Since I'll be using th PLX o2 sensor in place of the factory o2 -will the ecm still "operate" normally as if the
factory o2 was in place?
Sorry for the lame questions but some of the threads on tuning not very clear or assume too much.
Thanks

Re: PLX to ECM drawing correct?

datamaster will show the input of f14 up in the target AFR area, assuming your running code59 or a modified for wb stock style bin.

Understand F14 will show up in target afr in code59 and afr in datamaster.
How is theNB info get to the ECM from the PLX o2? Or am I thinkinking too much?
Thanks

Re: PLX to ECM drawing correct?

PLX does have an NB output, which would go to the signal wire for the stock NB o2 sensor and then be displayed as if it was a stock o2 sensor.

Re: PLX to ECM drawing correct?

Your new drawing still has the WB signal going to bb9 when it needs to go to F14 like jeff said. Switch the labels in the drawing.

For right now I have stock chip and would like to use datamaster to data log my wb afr. How do I do this?
1-Do I hook up the NB to purple wire?
2-Do I have to send my memcal to Dig to reburn?
a. When I want to Code 59-would the reburned memcal be useable with the Ostrich?
I know it's easier to go code59 (don,t fully understand it) but i for now like the graphics and playback of datamaster.
Thanks everyone,
Steve
